Definition of a Traveler

As a Traveler with Vine Tales, in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December (approximately):
- You will receive an email notification of the upcoming shipment approximately a week prior to shipment.
- Your credit card will be charged within the week immediately prior to shipment. If your card is declined for any reason, we will notify you immediately, so you will have time to make any changes to your account.
- Your wine will be shipped within 3-5 days of credit card approval.
- Signature and proof of age is required upon delivery of your wine.
- You always have the option of not receiving a particular shipment if you email or phone us before the 20th of the month before we ship.
- If you are unhappy for any reason, (well, other than things we have no control over) we will gladly accept your shipment back for a full refund within 15 days of shipping. Please contact us first to make arrangements.
- And, although we are confident you will love all of our selections and wait in anxious anticipation for every shipment, if for any reason, you decide to discontinue your membership, there is no obligation, but we will miss you terribly!
Cost
Our goal is to select the very best wines from each region we tour, representing a wide diversity of varieties and styles, with special attention to smaller wineries and less available wines. This means your medley may include wines priced from $12 per bottle to over $40 per bottle. Your total cost is based on the 'level' and number of bottles you have chosen for your shipment. You will always be charged the cost of the 'tour' you have selected plus shipping.

In any case, you will receive an email on the 25th of the month confirming what is in your coming shipment and the amount charged to you credit card, unless we hear otherwise by the 20th of that shipping month.
Shipping
Vine Tales lives in the "Free World" wine-wise Washington, which, along with a few other states, allow relative free trade between us. These are called 'reciprocal states'. To these, we say: "We love you"!
But… jeepers creepers… what's with the rest of the country? This is such a messy one, until we hear otherwise from the Supreme Court, there are several states that don't allow shipment of alcohol INTO them. Other states require special permits or destination shipments. We are, therefore, currently only shipping into the following states:
Alaska, California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, North Carolina, Oregon, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
We will keep you posted on changes to shipping restrictions as we find out about them. This seems to be a moving target.
In any event, you must be 21 to purchase and 21 to receive alcohol. A photo ID and signature is required to receive shipments.
Return Policy
Occasionally, you may discover a bottle from our current tour that has not traveled well or is corked. Tell us and we'll replace it or reimburse the purchase price.
Your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please contact us within 15 days of receipt of your order at 888-883-VINE (8463).
The only fine print here is related to returning shipments in extreme weather situations (mostly extremely hot weather), which can adversely affect the wine. Hence, we request that you please contact us first to ensure a safe and expedient return.
